Many thanks to Mateo for this touching card from Italy! This view is called "Scorcio della Basilica". I just love the reflection in the water :)
And the stamps are so cool! It shows William Henry "Bill" Mauldin, a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist from the USA. He was most famous for his World War II cartoons depicting American soldiers, as represented by the archetypal characters "Willie and Joe", two weary and bedraggled infantry troopers who stoically endure the difficulties and dangers of duty in the field. The author and his characters can be seen on this stamp :) So tag USA in this post goes to the stamp, because it s awesome!
